The Story

Founded in 2005 by Paul Halsey and James Minkin, who left careers at a national brewer to start Purity on a working farm in rural Warwickshire. The brewery operates around three pillars: Pure Eco (sustainability), Pure Quality (craftsmanship), and Pure Community (local engagement). They run a PureCraft Bar and Kitchen on site and host brewery tours. Purity is the official drinks partner for the Moseley Folk and Arts Festival and Mostly Jazz, Funk and Soul Festival.

GF approach: Gluten reduced using the Brewers Clarex enzyme. Beers brewed with standard glutenous cereals including barley, then treated with Clarex during conditioning. Enzyme breaks down gluten proteins to below 20ppm.
